The Parent Class Request feature received an upgrade! Parents and educators can now engage through a chat-style interface, making it easier to connect, clarify needs, and convert interest into bookings. This adds a more natural, real-time feel to the request flow.

📊 Why It Matters: Faster, clearer communication can lead to higher conversion. This chat-like experience increases the chances that a parent inquiry turns into a successful enrollment.
How to Make the Most of It
✅ Check your Educator Dashboard regularly for incoming requests

🎉 Memberships: Rolled Out to 100% of Families
What It Is
The Memberships feature is now available to all families on Outschool! Families can commit to a set number of learning hours per week, receive monthly credits, and enjoy exclusive perks like priority access to waitlisted classes.

📊 Why It Matters: We’re already seeing increased bookings and retention from Membership users. This model supports longer learner journeys and repeat enrollments—your business benefits from that consistency.
How to Make the Most of It
✅ Ensure your class schedule is updated and recurring to attract long-term bookings
✅ Stay visible in search by refreshing titles and images, plus don’t forget to add square images (from January!)
✅ Encourage families to enroll early in upcoming sections—especially for high-demand classes
📝 AI Class Recap: Save Time, Stay Consistent
What It Is
We’re making recaps easier than ever! In 2023, we introduced the Notemaker for 1-on-1 classes, followed by small group classes in 2024. Now in 2025, we’re rolling out AI Class Recap, using Zoom transcripts to automatically summarize each class.
You’ll get a banner notification when your recap is ready—simply review, edit if needed, and send to families.
Note – due to quality concerns surrounding the output of these recaps, the rollout has been temporarily paused.
